Welcome to the Hackney volunteer dedicated page, and many thanks for volunteering to help at the Club. Volunteers are an invaluable and prized resource at our Club. Between Coaches, Team Managers, Committee members, Events and other admin roles, we have over 60 Volunteers. The Club couldn't run without the hard work and enthusiasm of our valued volunteers and staff.

Please follow the steps below to become a volunteer:​

1) Complete the below form​

2) ​Log onto the RFU GMS  .You will need your email & password for your GMS login. Scroll down to 'Find a course' and complete the following two required courses. 

• ​E-learning module Safeguarding

• ​E-learning module Headcase concussion awareness

 

3)​ Once you have completed these e-learning modules, can you email our Safeguarding officer Mary Impey to confirm, at safeguarding@hackneyrfc.co.uk

4) Your role might require a Criminal Record Disclosure check. If so this will be done electronically on your GMS account. Our Sagfeguarding Officer will be in touch about this.  ​There is a £6 charge to do the DBS, a refund for this, can be submitted to our Treasurer, Chris Dominy by email, treasurer@hackneyrfc.co.uk
