Hackney Volunteers

Welcome to the Hackney volunteer dedicated page, and many thanks for volunteering to help at the Club. Volunteers are an invaluable and prized resource at our Club. Between Coaches, Team Managers, Committee members, Events and other admin roles, we have over 60 Volunteers. The Club couldn't run without the hard work and enthusiasm of our valued volunteers and staff.

​All Volunteers must complete the RFU E-learning for Safeguarding & Headcase concussion awareness. The courses can be found here. https://gms.rfu.com/GMS/coursefinder You will need your email & password for your GMS login. As a parent you should have this for your child. If not you can create an account here RFU GMS

Once you have completed the E-learning modules, can you email our Safeguarding officer Mary Impey to confirm, at safeguarding@hackneyrfc.co.uk

4. Your role might require a Criminal Record Disclosure check. If so this will be done electronically on your GMS account. Our Sagfeguarding Officer will be in touch about this.

5. There is a £6 charge to do the DBS, a refund for this, can be submitted to our Treasurer, Chris Dominy by email, treasurer@hackneyrfc.co.uk
