Griffins Supporters Club
The Griffins are ex-players and supporters who have come together to share old stories and create new memories. Whether you are one of the “originals” ofWoodberry Down Comprehensive School, who helped establish the Old Griffins club in 1965, an ex-player since then, or a fellow rugby fan, you are welcome to join the Griffins and support your club.
The Club has ambitious plans and aspirations to be the best community club in the UK and to do that we want to develop a multisport clubhouse with improved pitches and training facilities.
This needs everyone’s involvement to make it happen. Joining the Griffins is an excellent way for you to support the club while engaging with old, and new, friends to share exaggerated stories of past exploits!
In addition to great company and meeting up with old mates we will offer all Griffins a range of benefits. This will be developed over time as the membership increases but from day 1 we offer;
1. Priority Booking for international Tickets – full members can apply for up to 2 Twickenham tickets for the 6 Nations or Autumn Internationals*
2. Regular social events for all full and associate members at Spring Hill to coincide with senior fixtures.​
Joining the Griffins Club
In line with clubs across the country, Hackney Rugby Football Club uses the England Rugby’s Game Management System (“GMS”) to manage club membership, GMS will allow you to register yourself with Hackney Rugby Football Club, and pay for your membership. Please follow the guides below to both 'Create an account' and pay 'Membership Subscriptions'.

Creating an account
Login to GMS at this link RFU. It will ask you to select a club, which of course is Hackney RFC. Then follow the guide via this link How Do I Create An Account : RFU, to create an account for yourself.

Membership Subscriptions
The link to our payment is here RFU. You will have to enter your username which is usually your email address and your password. Select membership, which is either Griffins Full Membership, which includes the option to apply for International tickets, or Griffins Associate membership, with no option for tickets. Follow instructions prompted to complete payment, either paying 'pay in Monthly Installments' or 'pay in full'
Griffins Associate Membership is £60 lump sum, or £5 per month for the 2024/25 season
